I am involved with the textile fellows, Blueridge trading in Durban, Bernard Bossey my mate is making a considerable quantity of flight suits for many international companies.
It seems the trend is towards the Protal materials, this is being woven by Gelvenor textiles based in Hammersdale KZN.
See www.protal.co.uk for the threads made by Waxman.
This seems the route that many companies are taking. Obviously as Bernard is producing the suits for these customers as well as other military wear and aviation suits. He also works closely with Gelvenor and ourselves.
Bernard is prepared to make one offs for Gyros.
He is available at www.blueridgetrading.co.za
Hope this helps.
