As the first owner of a Zen1, I would like to make the following statement:
1. I am not sure of what had happened between the parties, but Trendak stayed put and Celier ducked! Now where I come from, the guy with the rights stays and the other guy ducks!
2. I have taken delivery of a magnificent Gyro build by Trendak, pity that Celier has deemed it fit to take on the world, but forgetting his customers, any in SA;
3. The 1 st thing on Celier's website was the request for a new agent in SA. My information is that Braam and Wagtail had supported Celier tremendously, a huge amount of the improvements on my Gyro bear the fruits of Wagtail input, I have seen the prototypes, so whom has stolen from whom?
4. Having not met any of the parties, I cannot really comment, but if I am to be lead by Vertcal Tango and Flynote, both of whom have had intimate contact with Celier, and from that seeing the response above by his Team, surely cloned from the same mould, I can only comment that the offending party in the dispute can only be Our Dear Leader, CEO of Ceo's, Gyronautis, Test Pilot Extraodinaire, Mon Piloot, Chief Designer of all things that Fly. The thread from above plays that story out, where a Marketing person attacks his customer. Sir, I am not sure which School of Marketing you attended, probably the Marikana Society of Marketeers on how to win friends and Influence People. Wake up, you have clients out here, whether they own Xenons or ZEn's. If your Master ia what he claims to be, the designer of all designers, he needs to climb off his little chair and face his clients, many of whom thinks he is an absolute monkey! Fix that and this amazing Gyro will bring you all the prosperity you obviously wish for. The way you are going about it as you have above in your posts will get you NO Agent, Clients or Aviators to support you in SA;
5. To Braam and his Team at Wagtail, as "Air Pollution" (having only flown 50 hours, 10 on a Xenon), your professionalism is a virtue. Comparing Celier's 1 st attempt, ZU-EHT vs ZU-RBI, is like chalk and cheese and a lot of the improvements I see is lying strewn around Wagtail as prototypes. Strange that Our Dear Leader at the time of his visit pooh-poohed a lot of these and now thay are in the Xenon, Mmmmmmm makes me wonder who the devil is in this dispute.
6. To my fellow Aviators, if I may make myself a part of the Group, but especially my fellow Xenon Owners, the negative publicity that Celier is seeking from advertising the dispute he has with Trendak, in stead of telling all and sundry how wonderful he his (something I understand he is not shy to do), will be the downfall of his 2 nd new Company....remember he already fled France before leaving behind another dispute, so France, Poland, Russia, hell the guy cannot map read, there aint no places more north!
7. Mr Celier Marketing Guru, Part Owner of the Company, and you Team, including your CEO....why dont you wake up and see the magnificent product you have, fight your fights with Trendak as low key as possible, and clone some of Celier's big talk into yourself and your Team and tell owners how wonderful you are and that they have nothing to fear, their investments are safe. Then maybe this tread will turn positive and you will gain the support and sympathy of your clients! Even I that have a ZEN1 would have posted a positive post if you came on and said..."owners we have a dispute with ATA, but that is between us, Celier is strong and we are here for you, even if your gyro is called a ZEN1"..See what opportunity you lost, dont carry on cocking it up, fix it NOW or Celier will always just be remembered for it's loud mouthed CEO.
Signing off from the forum, ZU-RBI
