Gyro along the Umlanga coastline.

Postby wiskeyfoxtrot » Tue Mar 22, 2011 7:25 am

Hi guys,

Was in Umlanga the long weekend and saw a black gyro circling around the beachfront at about 14H00 on Monday afternoon. Looked great from where i was on the balcony of the flat. Anybody know who it was as he seemed to have spotted something in the sea.
( very envious of all you people who can fly up and down the coast ! )

Was surprised not to see more microlights etc in the air.... Monday was a pearler on a flying day!!!!!!!!!!!!! :? :? :?

Later guys (!!)

Not spotting anything. Virgina tower ordered him to orbit as there was a fixwing on the runway with a flattie. There were two gyro's and a chopper doing orbits.
