Re: Magni M24 Safety Directive
Herewith update:
Note that the SB was issued 02/03/2011 and the UK MPD on 04/03/2011.
Magni has advised us that no aircraft in South Africa are affected as the problem arose to an incorrect radius machined on a certain batch of rudder blocks.
All part batches are traceable to individual aircraft.

Re: Magni M24 Safety Directive
Before this directive was issued, I was contacted by Butch, the Magni agent and took my machine to an AP for inspection.
All was found to be in order.
It subsequently transpires that it applies to one machine in the UK only but they decided to err on the side of safety and issue an general directive. Thats how it SHOULD be done. Gives me peace of mind to know my machine is ok and that the manufacturer is not afraid to go public with snags. Well done Magni.

Hi All
You have to give credit where credit is due, Butch's proactive attitude certainly has to be applauded. Its always reassuring to know that even after you have handed over your hard earned Rands, that the agent still actually gives a damn about you the individual and your pride and joy.
Cheers
