Finally

Postby OzGyro » Tue Nov 09, 2010 8:09 pm

Hi All

Well after almost twelve months I finally got everything sorted, headed to RAASA today and convinced them that they could finally ley me loose in the sky's of South Africa. An hour later I walked out with my new SA Gyro licence vhpy. Just a quick thankyou to Matthew at 303Sqn, Len(Gyronaut) and Glen(Old No7) for help keeping me in the skies up until now. I must also thank Willem at RAASA for making the whole paperwork process as painless as can be. I look forward to exploring the skies of SA and finally meeting more of the guys from the local gyro scene.
Bring on Stellenbosch (^^)

Cheers

Nice one Darren. (^^) (^^)

I've met some Ozzies - and other aliens as well - that really has - I'm just enduring my stay in your country, cannot wait to dust my shoes from this place, kinda attitude. You are quite an inspiration with your whole approach to what you can/want to achieve here, even with stuff that most propably won't benefit you in the future.

I take my hat off to you and wish you some great times in our skies.

HI All

Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement and continued support. The spirit shown here is the exact reason why I have enjoyed and am enjoying my time here in SA. I look forward to meeting up with more of you over the next few months.
Condor, the Bulls and the Boks you say, geez thats a lot to ask from a guy. Safe flying and see you in Stellenbosch.

Cheers
Darren
