Dave Collier (on the left) from Cambridge in the UK went solo at Aerosport, Fisantekraal, Cape Town today!
Dave has done his training so far on the school's Magni M16 and owns a Sycamore which is still en-route to SA from the UK.
Congratulations Dave!

Well done Dave!
I was there... and Len looked happy!
Although... he didn't go solo in the Sycamore!
Ciao,
Ross

I did say "Dave has done his training so far on the school's Magni M16" so it follows he went solo in it.Trikenut wrote:Although... he didn't go solo in the Sycamore!![]()
We're just standing in front of my Sycamore to show off!

One more thing... of course I am happy since it all went well! First solo is more stressful on the instructor than on the student, trust me.

Louis made me switch to 131.1 so he could listen to the solo!
I was having to change back and forward from 124.8 to 131.1 every five minutes, while trying to dodge clouds!
I think Louis was more stressed than you were, Len!
