Hi guys, I Would like to know if a locally obtained gyro licence is valid overseas, If so does one have to do any conversions or tests to be able to fly in another country?

Having trained some Brittish pilots in SA I am told that the UK accepts our Gyro Pilots licence as-is subject to their Air-law exam being written and a check ride being done. One would have to check with each countries' Civil Aviation Authority to confirm though.
