Bushveld Weekend Destination.

Postby Blue Max » Sun Nov 09, 2008 11:05 am

We are now able to offer you a FLY-IN AND/ OR SLEEP-OVER ESCAPE for those who want to visit the Picturesque Loskop Valley.
We have completed the runway and a small hanger.
To view the Bushcamp go to http://www.elandsquadcamp.co.za or fly over the camp at what I believe is my corrct reading of the runway on my GPS nl: S 25.02.045 E 029.07. 928. and compass reading zero 4 and 22 degrees. 400m x 30m, Appr. 150 Km. by road from Bapsfontein.
Places of interest, Rhenosterkop dam, Loskop dam, Orabie dam and a few game farms.
The bush camp is self catering.
This is also one of the most pleasant and largest quad venues in the country. My farm is not a farm farm, it is presently a quad destination and is now also a venue for Microlights...!!!!

Regards Blue Max.. :P :P :P (^^)

Hi everybody, vhpy
Think about this venue as a sleep-over destination where you can taxi your aircraft to your bushhut.
You can lie in your comfortable bed and view your aircraft in the hanger through one of your bedroom windows.!!!! (!!)
We are 150km from Microland (About 1 Hr 40 min in a trike.)
With a slight tailwind you will be there is 1 Hr 10 min.!!
You can bring your family along and if you are not flying you can enjoy any of our 5 quadbikes for rent. :o :o
Beautiful scenary in the Loskop valey for instance Loskop dam, Orabie dam and Olifants river and the Rhnenosterkop dam. All about 20 min flying time from the camp!!!
Check pics recently taken.
To follow, got to make them smaler !!!
