Hi guys,
I'm looking to find a new home base in the gauteng area. Does anyone know where hangers are available at an active trike field?

Re: Triker looking for a new home
Live in Edenvale.
I was looking for a field out Midrand way, but havn't managed to find much. I had my eye on summit, but I hear they only have "t" hangers and are too low for the king post. Doesn't sound like a trike community.
Rhino Park has a shortage of hangers at the moment. (they are building more)
Bapsfontein doesn't have many active trikes. (Not sure of the future either - Sold - Property developer?)
Kroon, Avaitors, Xwinds are a bit far.
My choices seem to be Petit, Panorama, Klipriver and springs. Does anyone have contact numbers for people at any of these fields who can assist with hangerage?
Any other advice or suggestions welcome.

Hugo is getting Petit on the map. Microland has active bunch as does Springs (They had hangars avail a while back). Pleanty of die manne van Staal on here...
Panorama is a closed shop as far as trikes are concerned - you have to rent. Difficult (I am told) to get in.
Klip had space available, but Circus may be better option. Try African Grey on here (Russell)

Re: Triker looking for a new home
Garry from Panorama called me today. He has a hanger available to rent.
The usual steel type with shade cloth doors. I'll go and take a look on friday afternoon.
Sounds like there is a good club following too.
