Ek het Woensdag n BAIE nice vliegveld net oos van die "railway bridge" gesien (Begin punt van Pinedine roete). Het n lae inspeksie verby vlug gedoen en lyk baie nice. Het iemand enige idee of ons daar mag land of nie

Het al 'n paar "tutch and go's" daar gedoen maar nog nooit mense by die veld gekry nie. Pasop vir die windkous in die middel van die veld en sommer ook vir die kragdrade parallel met die veld

Ja nee ek het opgelet n ou moet wakker wees as jy daar wil land. Miskien moet n hele paar ML daar eendag daar land en kyk of ons nie koffie kan kry by die huis langs die aanloopbaan nie

I landed there last week, but couldnt see a way to the house, 2 fences to cross and the gate was closed. Drove there the following day to see if I could introduce myself but there was no one at home, just the domestic. She gave me the phone no for the owner, Martie, who I spoke to and she said we are welcome to land there and have coffee with them anytime. Very nice and smooth runway

We landed there last week and met-up with the owner. Very nice guy, he has 2 blik aeries which he operated from Wonderboom and lands at the farm occasionally.

In general he does not have a problem if we land there for a quick smoke-break but was concerned about the neighbours

Obviously he would not like see a “fly-in” every Saturday and Sunday at 06:30

Hopefully we will not misuse his hospitality and become an irritation, after all it is a PRIVATE strip
