Airstrip close to Sunning Hill

Postby wingnut » Mon Jan 22, 2007 1:50 pm

Could somebody please make some suggestions of airstrips where i can keep my trike as close to Sunning Hill (Sandton) as possible. The closest ones i know of is Microland and Bapsfontein and that is 50km away!

I have heard that there are airfields somewhere close to kyalami?

Where are they and who should I contact to find out about hangarage?

I would really appreciate some help as I need to move my trike ASAP.

Thanks
Wingnut

Firstly it's about 10-15km from Hartes dam wall. 90km from Kempton Park

DON'T TAKE the one at Aviators, it's too scenic and the run way is in too good of a condition, plus the bar / pub is too good and the TV there is too big and you'll be in the company of Big D and DH, who do nothing but talk crap the whole day and fly every other time and the main reason? Cause I'm eyeing it out...

If you do take it, please send me your home address so I can make sure my baby has got hangar space there when I need it...

Seriously though it's a good place and I won't be pissed as I was snoozing anyways...
