Aviators Paradise Gauteng - Northwest of Harties Dam Wall

Postby DarkHelmet » Sat Aug 19, 2006 1:30 am

I dunno the exact length - but +/- 1km (my trike uses about 1/8th of it) tar runway just to the Northwest of the Hartebeespoort Dam wall.

03/21

For tailies rather come in uphill on 21, 03 is rather downhill. Circuits to the West. Thus left 03, right 21..

Field frequency 124.8

For an up to date weather report tune your radio to 124.75

Three clicks on the radio on 124.75 and the computer speaks you the weather over the air! Wind speed, direction, Ambient Temp, relative humidity and QNH.

I drive past there quite often... Just today again, is there hanger space, or how does it work?

It's a Google Earth file.

Click on the attachment, say open to open the zip file, double click on the kmz file. It will launch Google Earth if you have it and zoom to that location. Cool hey 8)
