Lebanon on Citrus? Anyone been there?

Postby Xplorer » Wed Apr 17, 2013 10:06 am

Has anyone flown into Lebanon on Citrus, between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam?

http://lebanon.co.za/

What is the condition of their grass strip?

Any overhead lines or other potential hazards to be aware of?

What about the terrain around the strip and rotor/turbulence generators in the prevailing winds?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Explorer, the runway, if it still IS a runway, is 600m long in a E-W direction. Power lines on the Eastern aproach. Would be better to phone the owner. Paul Raad, 027 4822508.
