Bennie, you can fly to Cato Airfield!

We have accommodation at the airfield in the club-house on bunk-beds in a dormitory style. Bring your own linen. Hot showers with His & Hers facilities. The kitchen is open Saturday and Sunday for Breakfast and Lunch otherwise there is the good old braai. The pub is run by PPC and is open a lot! Otherwise you can camp outside the club-house.

By the way, we are also a very friendly bunch! All welcome.

Now is also a good time to fly down to Ficksburg. Very scenic flying around the Maluti Mountains, Lesotho border. Sleeping facilities next to the airfield! Ficksburg is a small farming town, really a nice laid back community, definitely worth the trip.

Yip, so true! I've been there twice now. This time of year the weather is the best according to the local pilots and you will get alot of flying in.
