We were forced to land on a small (+-350m) strip next to the Loskopdam the past weekend, due to weather closing in.
I've tried to find information about this strip and tented camp on the internet but no luck.
4 tents (with beds), a generator and donkey for hot water shower.
Can anyone assist with information on making a booking at this camp.
If this is private property, we are sorry but thankful that we were able to land there to stay safe.

Maybe some Vlakplaas retreat. Eugene is coming after you. 
Post the GPD co-ords,I'll add it to my 'strip collection'. Lekker flying and when I press 'Nearest- comforting to know there's somewhere close by.

Easy flight from Microland and Rhino.
+-60nm, 1h20 and about 22litres fuel @14l/h one way.
Take extra 10 litres for safe return flight.
We should do it one Saturday morning!

Nico - Coming from Potties you could even stay over at oom Paul's (Blue Max) place, close to Marble Hall - he should be back then from his journey around SA.

Guys that is part of the Loskop Nature reserve.
Dont think you are supposed to be flying lower than 1500AGL.
Best Contact Mpumalanga Tourism Board for their number or possibly Forever resorts Tel: +27 (0) 13 262 3075/6/7 I am sure they can put you onto someone who can give you more info.

Forever Resorts person I contacted was not aware of a strip and camp belonging to them.
1500agl I know but then why have a strip?
Possibly only with prior arrangement if I can just find the contact person!

Blue Max se plaas is nog 'n verdere 45min se vlieg van daar af - dan sal ons moet reel vir ekstra brandstof.
Ek sou graag so 6:30 wou vetrek - arriveer 8:00 daar en keer terug na so 30min - terug by Microland by 10:00
