Want to start flying again

Postby D2O » Thu Feb 26, 2009 4:59 pm

Hi all,

I have been monitoring these forums for a while now, so I'm sure you've heard this story many times ($$)

I started my MPL at Sky Riders when I had just started working around 15 odd years ago, but stopped after only doing 4 hours, as I had run out of money, and was too young & dumb to finish. I always wanted to fly Microlights, but always put it off for that better car, better house etc. Well, I kinda figured, even though we're in a recession, and it's not the best time, its now or never! I want to come back out to Sky Riders and get this license under my belt and start flying already!
Can anyone help me with a contact to maybe book my demo & first flight, training material etc. at Sky Riders?

P.S. Great forums! 8)

Regards,

Thanks Ross & Stephan.

I'm not sure if there is a place closer to Randburg side, as going out to Petit or Bapsfontein is a bit far for me these days.
I wanted to train with Sky Riders, as I'd trained with them before, but does anyone know of a place that is closer to my side?

Well, I started training again, this time through Rhino Park. Done 7.5 hrs now, and looking good so far!
Loving every minute of it, even if I'm freezing my nuts off! P.S., thanks Shaun for helping me through my low level & round out issues!

Now its finding the bucks to get my own 582 that the biggest obstacle!
Anyone know of one for sale thats NOT the price of a new car?
