TMA,CTR zones
Hi all.I have confuse myself! micro's may fly in tma aslong as you apply to the semi sercular rule, think so ,but what about ctr zones is it possible to fly in it witout transponder.I stay close to FALA and there is beautiful spots to see but all in ctr just behind swartkoppies!
FAJS CTR a no go for trikes and general aviaiton (even with transponder
) A radio call requesting routing before entering FALA, FAGM, FAWB & FAWK is a must. It is always a good idea to give the ATCs a phone call beforehand to get routing information.
.. and you may find it all depends who is on duty

FALA CTR
I fly in that same area and if you are on the Eastern side of Swartkoppies you must contact FALA and ask for clearance, they are not to sticky if you just fly thru but don't mess around and stay in the area for too long.
5 miles North (Magalies Southern rige) of FALA you are ok as long as you stay below 5500 because FALA trafic most of the time will exit their airspace at 5500
West of Swartkoppies just stay below 6500 and stay on 125.8. If you want to go above 6500 you must contact FALA. They normally zone you out West abeam Swartkoppies if you are routing West in any case
