:D Thanks Cobra. It was an amazing experience. My mouth was so dry Fanie offered me a sweet. On rotation speed bar forward I we popped of the runway. I eased the bar back eventually having to suck my tummy in until the bar was against my spine. We climbed and climbed speed already established maintaining runway heading and no more runway started a 20 desgreas turn for cross wind then into downwind. Then radio comms not good so I extended the down wind leg turned late on base for a lonnnnnggggg final 03. Then I greased the touch down. I am sure you know the feeling. A big thank you to Skyriders Flight school instructors Henk, Mervin, Alex and Fanie. What a team. I would also like to thank my friend Herman for introducing me to this wonderful sport and for taking me flying on so many occasions. Finally I would like to remain under the instruction of Skyriders to fulfill my life long dream and become a pilot. Please hold thumbs for me

Rooies,

Depending on your "feel" of flying, or your understanding thereof, it will cost you anything between R15k - R20k.

Good luck!

Hey Rooies welcome to the forum....What Guzz said is right!!!But it will be the best R15k-R20k you will ever spend
From day one you will start flying and inbetween you will have a few theory classes......Its all lots of fun and well worth every sent.
Keep well and if u do start let us be the first to know and keep us updated with your progress on this Forum

 thanks guys. i'm so excited. i'm just trying to get some finances. but come hell or high water i'm going to fly. it's in my blood. i've flown a lot of planes as a passenger including micro's but enjoyed the free and open feeling of the microlight the most. i'm definatly looking at joining you guys in bapsfontein. i'll need some directions though.
