A good circuit nearly always equals a good or reasonable landing. I think you must first learn to grease the airplane normally before learning these more advanced manuavres. You will become accustomed to these moves and take them as the norm and one day you will push the envelope to far and we will most likely have a very sad post on this forum about your demise. Keep at it till you get it right. If you struggle too much, change instructors for a while. Only start doing the more advanced stuff when you have the basic under your belt.

Hi Bacardi.

Where do you fly from.

I know a guy who will teach you all you need to know. Did a 50 hour refresher with him a while back, he scared the SH*T out of me but thought me how far you can push your trike and not break it. Awesome!

Not that that is what you want, I am just bragging but he also sorted out some of my issues with steep turns! Not scared of putting the trike in a near 90 deg turn now if needed!

Well worth it.

PM me for a referral, and they dont go on holiday at our school!

Quackie,

He means a single session refresher after 50 hours logged.

I did the same - it is a good idea especially if done with a genuine A Grade Instructor.

Hi Tower

I am not convinced that this is necessary. I feel the same about +30 º pitch and whip stalls. Maybe it's just me

Before performing a maneuver, ask yourself the question ….

“Is this maneuver really necessary?” If the answer is NO, then don’t perform the maneuver.
