Taildraggers Rating

Just completed the taildraggers course at Petit with Komati Flying School on the Bushbaby. Highly recommended and if I'm honest, have to (silently) agree with the taildragger warlords that it really does improve your flying skills.

I would not call a 120 Hp Safari (IJH) a Bushbaby, would I ? :lol:

Agreed. Quite an intimidating rate of climb. Looking forward to some advanced Alaska type bush landings soon.

When can one start with your TD endorcement?

I am on my to my NPL LSA, but would like to know if I can start getting instrucion on TD?
I still have about 5-7 hours to go to my min for LSA in a sling, but wanted to do some TD time in between, but the TD is at a different school
Is this frowned upon?

The best is to start as soon as you have completed your NPL. Tailwheels are great fun and it will teach you to fly properly.
