Getting back in the air

Postby talk2optimus » Sun Aug 07, 2016 7:46 pm

Hallo daar almal!
Rather have a bash at this in english, anyways, I last did my license renewal in 2013. Flight test was done, paperwork signed and stamped but I never took it all to RAASA.

My question, how do I go about getting my license current again? I used to fly out of Heidelberg and will most probably do so again.

Much appreciated for any feedback received.

What type of License ? NPL ?
Im am not sure if it is the same for NPL as for PPL.

PPL lapse of competency is:
Lapsed < 36 months - Ground and flight training, meet recency, revalidation check.
Lapsed between 36 and 60 months - Re-write air law, Ground and flight training, meet recency, initial skills test.
Lapsed > 60 months - Comply with initial requirements of 61.03.

Hi Optimus,

My advice to you is just to go see your instructor who did the last renewal....they will advise you best as to what you will need to get current again. :)
