New to microlights

I have just completed my PPL theory subjects and now I would like to get my MPL. Is there any additional subjects that I must write, or will my PPL subjects give me credit for my MPL theory?

I think if you want to fly weight shift trikes you need to redo Principles of Flight and Airframes and engines.

Thanks, will the FAA handbook on flying trikes suffice for this and can a person get Swales exams for writing a mpl?
