Lovely stuff Sue, and well done Piet. Certainly a feeling you will never ever forget. Was thinking about it the other day, no matter how many conversions you do, whether you switch from a CCM to WSM or whatever, you will only ever SOLO once in your life. Its a massive achievement.>> and what a beautiful morning it was too !!

Safe flying .... vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

Well done. The little job satisfaction dance is evident that flying repeated circuits is worth the result.

Piet, I had to share this vid on my facebook page, as it is so similar to my first solo

I love the "Jissie!".....mine was more like "%$#@'n 'ELL!!!" (without 100kg instructor the trike took off like a rocket!)

I think it's really cool that you have a video of this special moment, I wish I had one too! :)

Sue, you are trully a passionate Instructor! (!!)

Did my first solo with sky riders yesterday and my words on take of were "@#%$ this is stupid". Bundy I felt the same after Farnie got out and my measly little 75kg was all that was left in the trike.

an absolute highlight of my life! cant wait to get out there on Friday again.
