You are probably fling that BB too fast on approach and landing 8) Geoff told me yesterday that you are klapping the hours. Keep it up. I will pop in between the 16th and the 25th of December.

Hey Noel, I would have thought that an instructor should at least get the terminology right - ##

- If there is a little wheel at the back, then it is a conventional geared plane
- If the little wheel has broken off or there is only a skid where the small little wheel should be, then it is a tail dragger
- If there is no wheel or skid at the back - call it what you want

As you gain experience you must prctice coming in with full flap at around 55mph, as soon as you start you roundout and hold off you SLOWLY start dumping the flaps. This will basically eliminate the hold off phase. You will be amazed at how short you can land. Aslo on a shortfield approach you must practice adding power when you feel the stick becoming pap, the extra airflow will keep the elevator and rudder alive at those low airspeeds. Don't be lazy on the rudder, you must "walk her in" to keep the wings from dropping, Not too much aileron.

For wheelers you need to keep you rate of descent low as well as the angle and check gently forward on the stick to balance her while the speed bleeds off on touchdown.(My English is crap so I will stop here) Safe flying (^^)
