POOR WEATHER FOR TRAINING

Postby Suesing » Wed Sep 21, 2011 1:43 pm

Hi Guys, jeepers the weather at the moment is really freaking me out. The turbulence here in the Magaliesberg valley even on a calm day are hectic at the moment, making training very difficult.I guess this occurs every year at this time, but after all my years i just cant get used to it.Hopefully after the first rains things will settle a bit.So hang in there...

Couldnt agree more - compared to the amount of flying that I did last year during the same time, there is definitely a change in the weather - for the worse!

This year has been the worse I can remember weather wise :( And Sue it it actually better where you and me are then Microland/Petit where it tends to be more windy, but without the mountain confusing the issue :?

Weather is crazy

The weather is sucky at best! Not a great year, I agree, yet, we need to be positive and get up early and ride the proverbial wave when we get the chance!

(^^) To Saturday am...

Calm seas never made a good sailor, likewise for bad weather when learning to fly makes you a more proficient (beter?) pilot.
