Had an awesome flight this morning, was great to be up in the air again. Its been nearly a month delay in the training due to bad weather etc. Nice to get in the groove again! (!!)

Howzit Alan

The weather was perfect for flying this weekend vhpy vhpy . Saturday morning I went for a flip to Koedoeskop and played around for a while and it was one of my best flights ever.

Just hope the weather holds for a while so that you can finish your license and come visit. (!!)

Hey Alan
Glads you managed to get up in the air again finally (^^) , I had ground school on Saterday at Rhino, then helped Ian, my instructor
build up his wing for the new Aquilla he has just bought. Will hopefully be up this weekend. vhpy vhpy

TC
I work those areas (Koedoeskop, Thabazimbi, Northam, Rooiberg, Leeukrans etc) and have always wondered what it would be like to fly around there, just looks so lekka. vhpy
Now when I,m there I will search the skies for that blue bird in the sky. (^^)

Have fun Fly safe

I will be back in JHB and surrounds in January...so when you paas your flight test and have the papers, let us organise a flight out to TC's place for the weekend...I think it will be great.

Did my solo cross country yesterday. Hadnt planned on it but the weather was so good that we decided to change the schedule a bit. A little bumpy on the way back but trike flew like a beaut! Not very proud about the 4/10 landing though, ha ha.
After returning to the airfield, I flared too high and had a bit of a bounce but managed to correct and safely complete. I guess I was not concentrating enough and in the "cruising" zone still. #-0 #-0

All good, enjoyed it a lot. Was good to get out of the circuit for a change. (!!)

Jip circuits get to you after a while (**), but I found that every now and then I do a couple of circuits (engine out landings ,low level fly by's, go around's, ect.) just to keep my skills fresh. (!!)
