Thunderbird Mk11 Conversion

Postby JJJ » Tue Feb 23, 2010 8:12 pm

Hi Guys
I have just bought myself a very well looked after Thunderbird MK11 SU-DUW. 2005 model with 50 hrs on the plane. (^^) I’m going for my conversion on Monday 1st March. I’m flying a VLA ,JK-05 and fly from a private strip in Vanderbijlpark. Can’t wait. With my luck it will probably rain on Monday.
Is there anything that I should know or any advice from more experienced pilots that can help? (Yes I did read the manual).
I have met Trevor and Sue Davies at Crosswinds and I’m sorry that I had to wait so long to meet wonderful people like them. Very professional and so helpful. I will definitely take my aircraft to Trevor for service and repairs in future.
Any Thunderbird gatherings???
Regards
JJJ
