FW Training

Postby OzGyro » Sat Nov 14, 2009 5:26 pm

Hi All

So the time has come to move from the dark side of gyro flying and get my fixed wing PPL. Seeing I live in Edenvale, Rand airport seems a logical choice. Can anyone reccomend a GOOD training school. Anything cosidered even if its not Rand airport based. Also just curious does anybody know of any schools offering taildragger initial pilot training??

Cheers

Hi Darren

Give Josua Groenewald a call. oh83 540 9468. I did my GPL with him at 303 at Brakpan, but he now gives instruction at Sky Raiders at Rand. Brilliant instructor, on tricycle and tailies, and good school.

You can tell him I recommended him. Young oke, but very experienced on fixed wing and gyros.

Cheers
Leon
