Hi All

What is the Rymes that you guys use for all your checks -PreFlight and Pre-Takeoff.
I am having a hard time keeping all this in my nut so i am looking for a ryme or something to help me remember.

A NEARLY converted Tailspin.

T - Trottle check
M - Master & Mags
P - Prop & Pitch
F - Freedom of controls, Fuel (level, cap, pump)
I - Instuments
H - Harness, hatches, hydrolics & Safety pins

This is just a quick write down. Add own checks in there as necesary.

Just had my Flying time for this week cancelled. :(
Need to get 3Axis converted before I can convert onto the SunBird. I have a few instructors waiting for the sunbird to Fly then they will convert me directly.
So working my ass off to get her finished.

Same as above....

Too Many Pilots Go Fly In Heaven Early.

T - Test controls (full free play movement and visually verify they move in the right direction) Trim set for take off, Temp (& pressure) in green, Throttle friction nut set (tight)
M - Master on, mags on both, Mixture (leaned for alt in my case) full
P - Pitot cover off, primer locked, pitch set (full) and pressure in green
G - Gyro's (Suction on vac pump) and set AH & DI (although I usually reset this once lined up on runway to runway direction)
F - Fuel (sufficient & in balance), select fullest tank (don't change from tank you did runup on) and flaps (nil for RV, first stage for most others)
I - Instruments top to bottom left to right (set qnh and make note and check all reading as they should)
H - Hatches, latches and harnesses (almal vas) - Lock doors and ensure pax and luggage secure
E - engine (check temps and prssures again and make sure all circuit breakers are in.

then GOOI KOoLE....

My prestart checks

FART  8)

Fuel on , Flaps normal
Avionics on, Altimiter set
Radio on, fRequency set,
Throttle full off, friction nut tight

Pretakeoff

FARSERT

Fuel taps open both, Flaps normal, freedom of control movement
Avionics on, Altimiter set
Radio on, fRequency set, Signal check
Secure - seatbelts, doors, cubby
Engine - oil pressure, oil temp, water temp
Runup - mag check, radio call
Takeoff

These are mine, in my plane they make more sense than the traditional ones

Too many Pilots Forget Good Habbits Incredibly Easily
my checks are identical to RV4ker except I add the landing lights on at the end. I also do these checks after my runup and mag checks. The reason being that I toggled some switches during mag checks and this rhyme is to make sure they are all in the right places again.

After take off is
Brakes Undercarriage Throttle Ptch Mixture Fuel Flaps Electric and on downwind the same except the it's mixture pitch throttle and radio call

I think I learned that in school geography or somewhere. I'm not an aviator so it can't be from aviation!
