I thoroughly enjoyed my Solo x-country, can see why some of the guys enjoy flying alone. Won't mind carrying pax from time to time but am definatley going to schedule some more alone time.

I think I won't feel confident with passengers for a while. And being up there in solitude is one of the best feelings, alone with clouds, air, horizons

Yes, as part of training, and during my solo "under supervision" I landed many times in ploughed paddocks around Dalby, my training area, which is surrounded for miles by flat agricultural land. The whole point of a trike, for me at least, is the fearlessness with which one can contemplate landing almost anywhere. My insurance broker said trikes were the safest aircraft they insure! I think it's for that reason. Slow landing speed, land anywhere. Course, what would I know?!! I've just qualified. But these are my hopes.
