After promising Chris a flip in February I finally took him up this morning (I am a man of my word, even if it sometimes takes long vhpy ) - I showed young Chris the joys of "flying around the patch", and we had a great 1h30min

Must say I have taken a few pax for flips in my time but never before seen such a passionate youngster with such a natural instinct and passion for flying - We climbed to a safe altitude, I handled throttle and gave Chris control of the instructor handles to get a feel - This guy takes to trike flying like a duck to water - I could hardly believe it  - No prior experience flying a trike and he flew like a champ whilst reminding me every 30 seconds just how AWESOME THIS IS!!!! I know Chris, I know

What is the hours record for going solo? Best I have heard of was 11 hours, reckon Chris will beat this once he starts his MPL

Good luck buddy - You will be doing the future of microlight aviation an injustice by not becoming a pilot - We need guys like you

4,5 hours on a windlass in 1993.

How do you cover take-offs, steep turns, gentle turns, stalls, recovery from stalls, straight and level flight, directional control and then landings including precautionary and emergency all in 4.5 hours?

Don't know what the record is, but that's not important. What is important is that the student is ready, and is competent. I went solo at 7 hours at 43 Air School doing a PPL.

Hi Fo Gyro

My one friend John Ross Edmond was at 43th Air School. Don't know if you know him. Well I also want to do my MPL soon, and just love, love flying

Take care

Go for it. Make your dream come true. If you have the will, its amazing how it can happen.
