Thanks so much!
I'm flying an Airborne Outback, which is an Australian made trike. The Outback is a basic model. No pod so you're out in the open. I like motorbikes, so this is the set up for me: a flying motorcycle. It's powered by a Rotax 582. Airborne also make a fancier model with a 912 Rotax and with a pod and glass cockpit; ie, instruments in a LED screen. I prefer lowtech. Their site is www.airborne.com.au. You can see a photo of my trike when I took delivery and someone was kind enough to take me for a flight in it at http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/2784 ... 1015ExLZAG
Now I've gone solo, I feel like I own it.
The flying conditions here in Oz are perfect. Good weather most of the year, warm winters, much like SA as far as I can tell. No mountains to speak of, plenty of landing areas all around.

Enjoy, but I am sure when we are old we will also want a cockpit
