Just resuming training
Re: Just resuming training
Had an awesome flight this morning, was great to be up in the air again. Its been nearly a month delay in the training due to bad weather etc. Nice to get in the groove again!

Howzit Alan
The weather was perfect for flying this weekend
. Saturday morning I went for a flip to Koedoeskop and played around for a while and it was one of my best flights ever.
Just hope the weather holds for a while so that you can finish your license and come visit.

Hey Alan
Glads you managed to get up in the air again finally
, I had ground school on Saterday at Rhino, then helped Ian, my instructor
build up his wing for the new Aquilla he has just bought. Will hopefully be up this weekend.
TC
I work those areas (Koedoeskop, Thabazimbi, Northam, Rooiberg, Leeukrans etc) and have always wondered what it would be like to fly around there, just looks so lekka.
Now when I,m there I will search the skies for that blue bird in the sky.
Have fun Fly safe

Hey Alan,
I will be back in JHB and surrounds in January...so when you paas your flight test and have the papers, let us organise a flight out to TC's place for the weekend...I think it will be great.

Re: Just resuming training
Did my solo cross country yesterday. Hadnt planned on it but the weather was so good that we decided to change the schedule a bit. A little bumpy on the way back but trike flew like a beaut! Not very proud about the 4/10 landing though, ha ha.
After returning to the airfield, I flared too high and had a bit of a bounce but managed to correct and safely complete. I guess I was not concentrating enough and in the "cruising" zone still.
All good, enjoyed it a lot. Was good to get out of the circuit for a change.

Re: Just resuming training
Got about 5 to go till solo, weather and shedule not been agreeing with one another lately
But we will get there, cause I reaaly will need that beer afterwards
I drove past the gates of TC's game lodge the other day (had to go see a client there) unfortunately not enough time to pop
in and say hi. Looks like a beautiful pad he has there.

Alpha, I will keep banging up the hours
TC, I guess I asked for that. Next time I will definitely do an inspection at your spot to see if the
beers are cold!!
