Solo X-Country

Klapped my Solo X-Country on Saturday. vhpy

The weather was good and it was really great to leave the patch and look around.

Thanks Morph,

I routed from Circus to Panorama, Tedderfield, Baragwanath,GAV, Lochvaal,Vereeniging and then home to Circus. All in all 2Hours.The wx was good, had a head wind on the south bound leg, but when "Charlie" (CYV) turned for home it was like the starting gates opening at the Rothmans July - cruising at 84mph gs 8)

It was a good experience leaving the patch, looking for new "emergency landings spots" along the way,checking for power lines etc.... Very different to the area one is used to and trains in.

Looking forward to spreading the wings more often.
