I flew again this morning,the weather was perfect land twise on my own!! when I started closing the throttel and lining up for runway the plane needs a lot of right rudder to keep it on the centre line,why?I just got out of a righthand bank flying clockwise,is it due to engine torque that in less now?

Hi Mario,

No, this is not normal. Check to see if one of your spoilerons is not stuck in the upright position. Next see if the aliminium fixed trim tab on your rudder is still in place.

Apart from the above and a possible unknown crosswind, I cannot think of any other explanation - engine torque will not do this - not on a MXII!

Hi Mario,

Met daardie hoeveelheid dihedral sal die buite vlerk definitief baie lig as dit sou kon gebeur en sy sal wil rol - dit behoort 'n mens te kan agterkom. Moenie bekommerd wees nie, ek vermoed dat dit eerder 'n dwarswind was. Ek het baie ure op daardie aanloopbaan spandeer en met daardie bome en windrigting kan landings meeste van die tyd 'n regte hanvol wees. Jy leer op die regte plek, sodra jy daar klaar is sal landings vir jou baie makliker wees.

I.put in another 40mins this morning,weather was great.All landings were very close to perfect,I smell a solo very soon. although it was good I used a lot of runway,still scared to push the stick forward!!.
