I am now known as Hemisphere at the school, cause everytime after take-off from Aero57, I am almost at 5500ft by the time I turn crosswind
Hi Tracer,

What is Aero57's altitude??

Re: Went SOLO X-Country !!!

So, didn't get to fly over the weekend, bad weather.

For the first time this morning I left the patch for a 1 1/2 hour x-country. I went from Aero57, past Pelindaba, past Harties, over the mountain, towards Aeroden, over Brits golf course, then turned back and made my way back to Aero57... (^^) .

Excellent.... enjoyed it.....

Hoping to do another trip like that on Friday, but landing at Brits, then hopping over to Aeroden and back to Aero57, FlyingFish will be joining me for that one, hope the weather looks like it did today

3Wheels,

I will still fly to the south.....just waiting for my passport

Today, FlyingFish and I went out too Brits. It was a great trip, excellent flying club. We only took-off for the return leg at 09h00. the last 15minutes of the trip was quite bumpy, so was the landing at Aero57.

It was also not completely un-eventful, but I will let FlyingFish tell the tale :)

Almost ready for my flight test, only short a couple of hours... :)

Glad to hear the training is going well, and also that it will be the last Microland Breakfast that you will be missing. Hope to see you at the next fly-in
