Hi Bryan,

Congrats,

Ja the ole scale does tend to lie as we get older

Try walking a couple of kms at least three times a week.

Also as a doctor told me: " less salt and no sugar no bread no pasta no rice no potatoes.more veggies and n ored meat no processed foods no tinned foods and only 2 eggs per week, excercise at least 3 times per week only olive oil and zero alcohol".

Bliksem,I thought what is left in life?

I cut down on all of the above, dont drink alcohol anyway, started walking and lo and behold weight started coming down. vhpy vhpy

Happy and safe fling.

Gunter Rostek.

bryan wrote:Thanks guys. rowing for 3/4 of an hour daily since I am partially disabled and not too good at walking. Lost 7 kg since 10th Oct. Unfortunately work demands me to be driving for too long daily to have enough time to exercise. Thanks Gunter I do not use alcohol but love good food ^ Taking delivery of my trike next week and that will help the motivation.
Regards Bryan
Gunter is right or his doctor. But concentrate on your sugar intake. In average a Caucasian in Europe is consuming 70 KG of refined sugar. Your body would be needing only 5 KG a year. In all the products that we eat is refined sugar, and our soda's are full of it just look at your can. So if you try not to consume refined sugar you will see weight loss in 3 months or so but you will feel better. You have to take care that you do not start to eat more because the fulfillment of your hunger feeling will take longer due to the lack of energy booster refined sugar. You can use the sugar gain half refined sugar for instance. First week just look on all the packages and see how much sugar it contains and try to find the products without the refined white sugar.

No I'am not. Refined white sugar consumption is 70 kg used in average by white Caucasians hence the reason why so many get obese and diabetic. Normally 5kg will do look at your can with coke or the bisquites or ketchup. Try to find one without full refined product and you will see they exist and they are 30 percent more expensive.

Look for raw cane sugar than your fine your body can digest it

Good on you Bryan!!! One of my concerns is also my weight, I thought they would fail me automatically as (to steal Mr. 4kers saying), I am a couple of craps behind and a couple of pies ahead. How does weight come into the equation when doing a medical? I have hypothyroidism which causes havoc on my weight. Will this be taken into account??

why  ?
uhm, i am also 5K 's overweight for my age. But luckely i started gyming with a personal trainer.
However, I dont think this is embarrising or seriouse either.Unless if it is that severe that it gives heart problems and that. However, I recommend that you see the doctor and ask his advice. And possible how much are you overweight for your age?
That would be telling!!!!! Well me and Sox are gonna work on the respective softnesses this weekend sp if we can get them to agree to let us do our MPL's then that will be the incentive!!!!!!!!!!
