Training for 3 axis from WCM

Hi All,

I currently have my NPL on WCM aircraft and I would like to do training on CCM. What do I need to do? Does my current licence account for any hours or do I have to redo any theory?

I am keen on doing my training in either a bantam or a cheetah, any advice on who I can speak to will be of great help.

Tumbleweed Sue here.You need to start again by getting a new Student Pilots License.Then you have to do a minimum of ten hours ,and 3 solo take offs and landings.Then you need to re-write engines and airframes(technical) and Principles of flight. At the moment i have a couple of guys upgrading from trike to Bantam and on average budget on about 15 hours. Check out my website.

Hi Sue,

Gary here aka Alpha. I am interested in doing my training on the bantam, can you help? If so what do I need to do and can you perhaps let me know what the approximate costs are based oon the 15 hours? I have had my WCM licence for 3 years now and I love my trike, but I love flying in general and if I can get my CCM licence as well I will be very happy.

You can also speak to Porra(Jose) @ Circus!He was my instructor on wcm and now is a instructor on the cheetha!

If you are going the Cheetah route, why do CCM. Surely LSA[Light Sport Aircraft] is the way to go since the theory exam is the same! CCM is a step inbtween and the types to fly rather limited

It is at the Sports plane licence where different opinions emerge.

Dish...not letting the cat out of the bag...but I flew in a bantam for my first ever microlight flight and it got me hooked...lol

As for the Zebula invite...I will then just gate crash..lol

Howzit Alpha Gary, if you are not a very huge guy i would definately go the Bantam route.( Sorry i addressed your question to tumbleweed on your original thread)
