Just finished training
Just finished training
I have succesfully finished my mpl training and what a big relieve! Thanks to Deon and Rowena in Hoedspruit for all they have done for me to get my license. I will be flying in the soutpansberg area near waterpoort.Would like to know if there is anyone flying a microlight in this area?

Congrats!!
Now you are equipped with a full bucket of luck and an empty bucket of experience, please take care that the latter becomes full before the first runs dry!
May you have thousands of hours of happy flying!!

Re: Just finished training
no topflight dont get me wrong.i enjoy flying alot and i am so glad to have the opportunity to fly.it just took me almost a year to get my mpl because i live in waterpoort and it is 3hours drive to where i did my training.not easy to get all the hours done.now my microlight is on the farm and i can fly everyday when i want.my first 6hours of training didnt count because the instructor i had before deon rescued me from him wasnt regestered.here where i live is hot but the problem is we are right next to the soutpansberg mountain and the wind is a big problem.very limited on flying time and that frustrates me.i wane be up there in the sky all the time.

And let me guess, you had to pay for those training hours ?

Anyway, baie geluk Andrew. Enjoy every minute from now on !!!
