Thanks again everyone, and no croc still grinning   Well I'm definitely going to practice my landings and thinking about it will never stop as long as I fly. Like someone told me once, every landing should be better than the last one. Can't wait for the weekends flying hopefully the weather holds up.

Hi Marco,
Trust me that your landings may not always keep improving over time - just always keep concentrating.

Saturday I had my first, 1 year test flight to renew my lic with an instructor.
The second landing (yes it was an emergency, power-off landing) was terrible. Too low roundout with virtually no float.
And this after 89 hours flown during the period after getting my lic last October.

Enjoy every minute of your training.

Hi JCH, I'm glad to hear your OK well done on the forced landing. I think the key is to never get into a comfort zone and like you said always keep concentrating.

I had a good wake up call just before my solo flight, went to fly on a Saturday morning and with all the traffic around and nice planes to look at my concentration slipped and the result, stalled the wing on takeoff  luckily my well experienced instructor helped to get the situation under control and to get my concentration back. BIG lesson learned :!: :!:
