Getting my license - Any idea?

Postby Massimo » Thu Feb 12, 2009 10:16 am

Hi all,

I would like to start with my sport pilot license or LSA (who knows) for the sky jeep. My aircraft is not ready yet. So does anybody know who can train me for this license on a sky jeep? Or will it probably be the case of getting the license on another type and then doing a type conversion later? I have contacted RAASA but still waiting for resppnse.

Thanks
Cheers

Don't know of anybody in this area that trains with a ch701. So get your license at a school that uses LSA types and then just do a type conversion when ready. Don't think anybody at microland flies LSA but just down the road from there is Petit and Andy. See the website www.microlightadventures.co.za
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

Hi there
I Want to do my Microlight Licence and are staying in Rustenburg. Was on this site the other day and read about guys flying over Mooinooi and Buffelspoort dam. I also looked on the net and found a Instructor who is giving classes in Rustenburg by the name of Pierre Bothma, but I don't think his E-mail adress works any more. Can any one please tell me if there still is a active Microlight club in Rustenburg, or where are the nearest Club to do my training.

You can mail me on gerhard.oberholzer@vodamail.co.za or here on this site.

Thanks alot

Not sure if anyone came back to you yet but I know of Aeroden (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7088) and Paradise near Brits, which is not too far away
