New OptiFuel modular system

For pilots who do not have much space left on their instrument panel we have developed a new modular system.

The display and 5 position control switch is separated from the main electronic unit via a ribbon cable. The display which houses the control switch is rectangular ( 61mm wide, 34mm high and 15mm thick ). It is light enough to be simply double sided taped on to the panel. The main electronics with the terminal block for the sensor /gps and power supply is covered in heat shrink tubing and ends up being 60x80x15mm and can be placed about 15cm from the display. It can be cable tied to what ever. The panel needs a 13mm hole drilled through to pass the connector of the ribbon cable that joins the two units. Otherwise if the display is mounted on the sides or top or bottom of the panel then the cable can slide around the edge instead of going through a hole.

The complete modular system including flow sensor, harness and fittings sells for R1200 excluding VAT and has all the functionality of the round instrument.
