We are completing a military project with a new upgraded headset type. Mrs Zulu has imported a large quantity of components, so we have decided to make a Aviation version of this headset. They are quieter than most headsets on the market without the depth of the Peltor Optime 3s which are very cumbersome in service. To maintain a reduced weight, the batteries are now mounted in the cable as we do for the Gzone headsets. They also feature a on/off switch in the cable so it is not necessary to unplug after usage...many complaints with the Chatterbox series over that feature. They also feature a Nappa headband with the super light cables we have sourced. Batteries are 3,6 volt 1/2 AA that last at least 100 hrs in service.
The boom is now to our military spec, considerably more flexible than anything on the market, I attach a picture of the military version, they are available standard in Blue, but should someone want a military olive drab, no problem. Launch special (because of volumes) to suit either a Lynx, Microavionics (rechargeable batteries in the cups with a small LED to illustrate power from the intercom) or our standard Chatterbox sets at R1450,00 a headset. Twin jack headsets also available at R1850,00. Binder 6 pin types for Gyros also available at R1850,00. The microphone elements are the same as we use in military systems at 680 ohms noise canceling and are in most cases superior to low end headsets available.
We can also supply the Condor helmet in a matching olive drab this month !
