Due to the popularity and almost 100 % new usage of the VXA220 radio we have changed the Vee rabbit cable connectors to SMA angle plugs for all South African supplied antennas. To facilitate for older Icom radios we can supply a SMA-BNC adaptor as shown in the picture. The supplied spanner now allows for the tightening of the whips, mounting nuts and also the SMA plug in the radio. This reduces the mechanical leverage of the previous BNC adaptor in the radio as the cable is directly connected to the radio and provides a very neat coupling.
