Smokey 582 resolved

I am embaressed to report that my smoke problems on the 582 were nothing more sinister than a sticky cable which was resulting in the autolube running at full throttle regardless of the engine revs.
The manual recommends that we clean and lubricate cables every 25 hours - I wonder how many of us do that.
Anyway - thanks for the advice
Hopefully we have all learned something.
By the way - disconnecting the autolube is dead easy and simply requires a cover plate to be placed where the pump is mounted - the guys at aviation engines can help. I have left mine in place
