PTT ON BUZZCOM

Is daar iemand wat my kan help met die vervanging van n ptt knoppie. Ek wil n kleiner ptt knoppie inst ,kan ek enige tiepe gebruik.Op die intercom is daar n klein knoppie ,dit is die grootte wat ek wil installeer. :?:

Tobie die draad wat op die ptt werk is dit nie die vesel tipe nie, en hoeveel draadtjies is da wat die skakelaar voer.

Is this what you are looking for ?? The contacts are normally open, with the later Icom/ Vertex radios are 4 wire, the fourth wire merely switches to ground on the radio. The earlier Icom ICA20 series are three wire and sometimes the PTT switches a relay also normally to ground.

Zulu1 My problem is need to feed the wire throug the joystick and then fit a butten on the inside of the tube.At the moment it is hanging from the buzzcom int on the outside and always inthe way.

OK, No worries, If possible that you can draw the stick, as well as photograph, measure the inside diameter with a vernier as close as possible (within 0,1mm). We use various PTTs for several applications and I will machine a suitable unit holding a button for you with a length of cable attached that you can join either inside the box (preferably). I have made them before using acetyl as a housing which will press into the top of the stick. I would imagine in Aliwal North that you dont have the same access to materials as we do.
