STROBELIGHTS

I have got a strobe light that i want to fit to my skyranger BUT it is red . Can i fit it on the fuselage just behind the cokpit ,i see some of the cesnas have them there so wil it be legal to fit them to the microlight.Now that the charging is sorted now i can fiddel with strobes .
