Hi Guys , the Leprachaun out there are starting to get on my nerves .
My Radio Icom a5 suddenly started getting the worst radio interd-ference you can get - The noise is similar to plug noise at high revs - never done it before - Where do I start
Regards Leprachaun - ZU - DGB

I noticed if there is a bit of a shitty connection on your spark plaug wires that can also cause some interferance.

Have you recently changed plugs? I had a similar problem, manual states B8ES for my Rotax 582 (form there the noise) but I was recommended to install BR8ES.

The correct spark plugs is very important and from experience on my 503 I know that only BR8ES works.
I had proplems with noise on my Icom A22 on a few occations just to find that somehow I managed to switch off the automatic noise reduction (ANR) on the radio. This filters out most of the ignition induced noise and will normally let your radio perform much better. Check if the noise reduction is switched on as it might be all that is wrong
