hi every one.

i recently took my 582 for inspection after 750hours.

the motor was opened up and crank was measured up and was found to be within the 60%wear limit after 600hours tbo as stated by the new law.

i am being forced now to replaced the crank and i dont want to argue tooo much with the ap.

as i understand the law,if the crank and engine components dont exceed the 60% limit, everything can be put back.

can any body out there clear this up for me..

thankx

The way I understand it is that less than 60% wear, crank can be refitted. Your next tbo would then be every 300hr's after the initial 600tbo. If you fit a new crank now it will give you another 600hr's to next tbo. Best bet find another AP!
