Spark plug replacement

I need to change my spark plugs for the first time since I bought my trike. With this whole CAA issue, should I do it myself or would you guys suggest I get our local AP at Microland to do it, or at least stamp my engine logbook?

Believe it or not, I bought my plane in October with 250hrs on and it's now on 275hrs. This 300hr cr*p could be pretty hectic for okes in the same boat as me! :?
That's why I just wanna make sure my paperwork is up to scratch...

Depending on how much you have flown this year, You should do a judgement call and let the maintenance just suddenly appear during dec 2007. If you have flown a lot this year, it would not make sense though.

Guzz in essence you are asking for the blessing of the okes to break the law.

Not at all Skybound.
I think the question is being misunderstood. Apologies for any confusion.

What I wanted to know is whether I should change the plugs myself, or ask an AP to do it?

Hi Guzz,

What skybuond is referring to, is that with the new regs, you are not allowed to do or change anything on your own plane. The best alternative would be to contact your AP, and ask whether you can change plugs and if he then will sign you out.
